Development of Farmer Exchange Rates in Jambi Province November 2018

Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) Jambi Province November 2018 amounted to 98.07 or fell 1.67 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP was due to the Farmer Accepted Price Index (It) which fell by 1.24 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.44 percent.
In November 2018, the Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 101.18 for the Food Crop sub-sector (NTPP); 90.70 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 98.28 for the Community Plantation Crop Sub-sector (NTPR); 99.52 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.52 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 114.16 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 96.21.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.42 percent. Inflation occurs in seven household consumption groups, namely the Foodstuffs group; group of processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; Housing group; clothing group; Health group; the Education, Recreation and Sports group and the Transportation and Communication group.
The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) in Jambi Province in November 2018 was 105.42, down 1.84 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
