Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in January 2019 amounted to 98.01 or increased 0.90 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Farmer Received Price Index (It) which rose by 1.51 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.60 percent.
In January 2019, Jambi Province's NTP for each subsector was recorded at 103.02 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 88.66 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 97.97 for the Community Plantation Crop Sub-sector (NTPR); 99.97 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.33 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 113.29 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 96.76.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.51 percent. Inflation occurs in six household consumption groups, namely the Foodstuffs group; group of processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; Housing group; clothing group; the Health group and the Education, Recreation and Sports group. Deflation occurred in one household consumption group, namely the Transportation and Communication group.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Business (NTUP) of Jambi Province in January 2019 amounted to 105.25, up 0.49 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
