Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in April 2020 was 102.16, down 2.57 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP was due to the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which fell by 2.79 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) fell by 0.23 percent.

In April 2020, the Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was 101.80 for the Food Crop subsector (NTPP); 98.03 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 102.71 for the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 96.28 for the Animal Husbandry sub-sector (NTPT) and 103.93 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 105.73 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 97.91.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at minus 0.33 percent or there was deflation. Inflation occurred in seven household consumption groups, namely the Clothing and Footwear group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuels group; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance group; Transportation group; Information, Communication and Financial Services group; Food and Beverage / Restaurant supply groups and Personal Care and Other Services groups. While in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group deflation occurred. Meanwhile in the Health group, Recreation group, sports and culture group, and Education group there was no change in price.
April 2020 Agricultural Households Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Jambi Province was 102.64, down 2.95 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
