Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in November 2020 was 115.75, an increase of 2.73 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which increased by 3.09 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.35 percent.
In November 2020, Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 99.73 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 102.67 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 120.06 for the sub-sector of smallholding crops (NTPR); 97.43 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 106.89 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTNP), which consists of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 109.33 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 98.69.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.43 percent. Inflation occurred in six groups of household consumption, namely the Food, Beverages and Tobacco group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Other Fuels group; Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Care group; Transportation group; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply group; as well as the Personal Care and Other Services group. Deflation occurred in two groups, namely the Clothing and Footwear group; as well as the Information, Communication and Financial Services group. Meanwhile in the Health group; the Recreation, Sports and Culture group and the Education group did not change the index.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) Jambi Province in November 2020 was 116.95, an increase of 3.04 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
