HSN BPS Batang Hari Regency For Millennials

September became an important month for all statistical people in Indonesia. Every September 26, we commemorate it as National Statistics Day (HSN). This is not BPS's birthday. However, BPS as a statistical data provider in Indonesia commemorates it every year. This momentum is also used by BPS to popularize statistics, make people closer and recognize the importance of statistics in life.

If in the past the HSN celebration in Batang Hari Regency was still for the internal BPS BPS mindset, this time the HSN was held on October 1, 2018 also for external and BPS partners. In the past, competitions were only attended by BPS employees. If it is different now, now is the age of social media where the millennial generation is identical with social media. The HSN program was very lively, including leisurely walks, door prizes, yell competitions, Rank 1 competitions, and others.

BPS Batang Hari Regency has its own way to introduce and foster a love of statistics for millennial generations. High school / vocational high school students from six schools in Muara Bulian are invited to contest yells and race "Ranking 1" by using the Kahoot program. In the competition for Ranking 1, it was filled with questions about BPS, data, Integrated Statistical Services, Basic Statistics, introduction to the STST Polstat, as well as general questions that are currently being hit.

HSN 2018 becomes a real energy, not only for the BPS family, but for all statistical people in Indonesia. Energy to progress together to build a nation based on data. This energy is also reflected in the commemoration of HSN 2018 from Sabang to Merauke.
